Reasons For Why Did Ranbir-Deepika’s ‘Tamasha’ Get U/A Certificate
A long kiss from James Bond flick ‘Spectre’ was edited to half by the Censor Board of India. The decision was hugely criticized and trended on social media. But now the news one more Kiss scene is chopped from movie Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s movie Tamahsa.
Ranbir-Deepika’s ‘Tamasha’ is released and the film has got a U/A certificate. Here we have listed the things Censor board found objectionable in the Tamasha:
1). According to sources, Censor Board was not feeling sound with Ranbir’s tongue-in-cheek dialogues. A dialogue where Ranbir addresses Deepika’s character as ‘saali’ didn’t go down well with the censor board. The line was edited.
2). A line (apna haath jagannath) with reference to masturbation, which the censor board did not want.
3). Another dialogue of Ranbir “Din mein sister raat mein bistar” — did not approved by the board.
4). Board also edited three verbal cuts and a word including ‘pole’, which according to censor board that was not acceptable.
5). And in the last a long sensual kiss between Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone has been edited by the Censor Board.
