IBPS just announced regarding the interview process of IBPS CWE 2017 according to that participating banks would no longer conduct separate interviews for successful candidates after the CWE. And for this Instead, IBPS itself arrange a common interview (CI) for the successful candidates at different locations in India and after that they will prepare a final merit list of selected candidates which will be used to recruit them directly to the banking positions. IBPS kept CWE marks and Interview marks ratio of 80:20. So those candidates who qualified in Common written exam (CWE) and Common Interview they will be called for a common Interview conducted by IBPS only. In this session of Common Interview Interviewer examine your basic skills about banking and test knowledge about banking awareness. IBPS Exam Interview questions are mainly based on Current Affairs, Indian History, Indian Politics, Agriculture , Awards, Sports, Indian culture etc.
Finally, IBPS forms a merit list or you can say rank list once the exam and interview phases end. So this rank list will be used to fill existing and future vacancies in the participating banks for the period of next one year from the date of announcement of the final results of IBPS CWE.
Always keep in mind that IBPS does not announce the final cut-off marks until the entire process of CWE and the interview is over to keep everything secure. Because this leaves candidates guessing the expected cut-off of the exam marks and not being able to know the exact cut-offs of the exam. It is noticeable that the process of deciding cut off marks is also then divided as per states. This is simply based on fact that a certain state has less number of vacancies and some has a huge vacancies so the state having less vacancies have a lot cut off and the states have low number of vacancies have a comparatively higher cut off, then the cut-off for that state is likely to go up and down and if a state has more number of vacancies, then the cut-off can be lower. So this is a simple game of cut off.
