Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s wedding is in the news constantly from las t few days or months. Now, Image of their invitation card of wedding is leaked online which makes his fans more excited. We have collected some special facts about this VIP wedding as below:
1. Pre-wedding bash
Shahid cancelled his bachelor trip because of his busy schedule; Mira’s close friends hosted a bridal shower for her at Chattarpur Farms with Shahid specially flying in to participate.
All wedding ceremonies will begin from July 5 with Haldi followed by Mehendi on July 6 and finally the wedding day on July 7
3. Invitation Card
The invitation cards and the gifts were packed in the form of a tea blend because Shahid’s actor father Pankaj Kapoor is a tea lover.
The ceremony will be held in Gurgaon. The card is a invitation of dinner party at The Oberoi, Gurgaon on July 7 from 7pm to 10 pm.
The wedding will be attended by freinds, family and the leader of the spiritual group Radha Swami Satsang Beas. And many from Bollywood.
6. Number of Guests
The card maker stated that around 500 guests have been invited for the wedding as well as the reception.
Designer Kunal Rawal has designed 10 outfits of the groom. A lot of ethnic outfits like achkans and bandh galas are part of Wardrobe of Shahid. The bride will be seen in Anamika Khanna designed creations. As per sources, the couple’s wedding attire will be color coordinated.
8. Choice and Selection of Colors
All the choice regarding to the colors is made by shahid itself. The credit for color combination goes to Shahid as he was very particular about colors. From the peacock logo to the font, everything was decided by Shahid Kapoor itself.
A source shared that since both the families are followers of Radha Swami Satsang Beas, the menu will be pure vegetarian. The after-party will have a mix of Indian and continental cuisine. Shahid’s family members finalized the evening food spread along with parents of Mira. One heard that there will be a special stall of fancy Jaipuri paans too. It probably consists of a variety of paans like chador pan, and flavored paans like mango and rose. For chocolate lovers, there will be a chocolate pan, with ingredients like gulkand, sauf and elaichi dipped in chocolate.
The reception will take place a few days after the Wedding. Most probably it will be on on July 12 in Mumbai.
